Most Shocking, Dramatic Tsunami Video

Watch a whole town being washed away by the recent Japan tsunami. Watch electrical sparks as the tsunami eats the whole town. The crew was crying while shooting this. Don’t watch this if you have a weak heart!

‘We’ve seen a lot of footage of the tragic Japan tsunami, but this clip is the most horrifying yet. Entitled “South Sanriku — Tsunami seen from Shizugawa High School,” it’s shot from high ground, but toward the end of the video you can see panicked residents running for their lives.

‘Almost as dramatic as the video is its audio track, where even if you don’t speak Japanese, you can tell the people are expressing concern at the beginning, but by the end, their voices have reached a high level of panic and horror as they watch their homes washing away.

‘Shortly after the tsunami, one survivor called the oncoming deluge “a gigantic pile of garbage coming down the street.” That’s an apt description, as you can see an entire town reduced to a huge pile of watery debris in a matter of minutes. Shocking…’

White House’s Trusted Internet ID Plan

They created this because ‘old password and username combination we often use to verify people is no longer good enough.’

‘The U.S. government will coordinate private-sector efforts to create trusted identification systems for the Internet, with the goal of giving consumers and businesses multiple options for authenticating identity online, according to a plan released by President Barack Obama’s administration.

‘The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will work with private companies to drive development and adoption of trusted ID technologies, White House officials said. The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC), released by the Department of Commerce on Friday, aims to protect the privacy and security of Internet users by encouraging a broad online authentication market in the U.S…’

    Sorry Poch, I just finished watching “Witness: Disaster in Japan” on the National Geographic Channel. That’s more than enough heartbreak for one night, so I’ll have to watch this one tomorrow. :-|
