Its a thinking article, It reminds me of the book “The Cult of the amateur”.

Is that a tech book? Who is the writer?

      • din1992bay says:

Yes, Its a fact-centric tech book. Andrew Keen is the author of “The Cult of the amateur”. He is a lecturer of Literature in a college. The book showcases the dark side of internet.
Each part of his mentions in the book also contains real life story accompanied with that in the book. This book is my second most favourite book in my college library.. 🙂

Yeah. I try not to “ponder” about that part. At the same time, I think encouraging people to acknowledge that they notice what’s going on in their world, if not the World is a good thing. Could be too late. Sad to think a new paradigm could just slam down on us like a great anvil, and flatten us into two-dimensional beings, without any of us having the courage to shout “Heads up!” The way its presented to us in the media trains us to tacitly approve. I appreciate the gentle……. caution. I should be careful. I’m becoming one with no “unrecorded thoughts” myself.

The scary thing and big question about this is: can we stop the Net from gaining
consciousness? If it’s a fact that the Net is gaining consciousness, then this is where
      apathy becomes most dangerous!

Reblogged this on day3of and commented:
I love to ponder, especially about things that can be pondered a while and then put on the shelf. There again, nothing worth pondering should be neglected too long for these are the mysteries of our generation. We are the harbingers of the information age. We’d better figure out what we’re doing.
